Hello Friend
The world is in turmoil as I write this and we are all rightly engaged in trying to understand and stay up to date with the awfulness unfolding as Russia invades Ukraine. We want to understand the backstory, to make sense of the international response, to find ways to send our support to all impacted – in Ukraine, in Russia, and all around the world. Then we try to get our heads around all the uncertainty of what next and when?
It is right that we are disturbed, that we engage and work to figure out how we can each, individually be responsive. Yet as I wondered how to write something this week I wanted to share how I needed so much to unplug and come home to my own inner peace first.
I wanted to share two ways that help me to do that with you in case you too are looking for a little equilibrium in the midst of turmoil and uncertainty, and these might help.
From Thich Nhat Hanh
“By the way we live our daily life, we contribute to peace or to war. It is mindfulness that can tell me that I am going in the direction of war, and it is the energy of mindfulness that can help me to make a turn and to go in the direction of peace.”
Mountain Meditation – great way for me to reconnect with my own steady heart in times of trouble:

Till next time wishing you deep inner peace from which to navigate a steady path through the changes in our world.
I can’t wait to see you THRIVE
