Attending to the inner & outer landscapes of our lives for meaning, connection and growth.
Wisdom Garden Cross Professional Supervision is rooted in the Wisdom Model and its four pillars of Contemplation, Compassion, Creativity and Collaboration.

A typical session (usually one a month) will be for one hour. During the session, we enter into a quiet atmosphere where as you take the opportunity to speak in a safe and nurturing environment about a particular situation in work or your overall experience of yourself through your work. I engage in deep listening as we both tune in to the Wisdom within and between us.

Wisdom Garden Cross Professional Supervision is rooted in the Wisdom Model and its four pillars of Contemplation, Compassion, Creativity and Collaboration. I have trained in this model in An Chroi Wisdom Institute. I am a full member of the Supervisors Association of Ireland, and a Board member of AISGA Ireland, and my practice is supported through my own participation in monthly one to one and group supervision sessions.

‘Dee is working with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland (MS Ireland) in the role of external supervisor to MS Ireland Case Work Staff. We have had a very positive experience with Dee who demonstrates a great capacity to create a space where case worker can reflect on their practice and explore their role within this often complex work. Dee’s style of reflective listening promotes an atmosphere where the MS Ireland case workers can develop strategies that supports solutions which in turn contributes to good outcomes for people with Multiple Sclerosis and family members. We would have hesitation in recommending Dee as a supervisor.’

What you can expect?

During the session, I listen as you share. I may occasionally question, challenge, or support you as appropriate. Ultimately, you will own whatever insights are uncovered, as well as whatever action you might take. We end the session with a short mindfulness practise helping you to ground your own insights and  support your ongoing wellbeing in the workplace.

Why work with me?

The first session is usually for one house and fifteen minutes. This is a time for us to explore if I am the right external support for you, and if my offering of Cross Professional Supervision  is the right match to support your ongoing professional development and individual wellbeing.

WHAT IS IT?

In highly demanding jobs, cross-professional supervision supports professionals to maintain a healthy life/work balance. To perform best in our professional work, self-care is an important part of the journey. Regular supervision, for practitioners working within the caring professions and the service industries continues to gain recognition as being vital to the on-going holistic care of people who are at the frontline when trauma and painful social issues require their expertise

Cross-professional supervision provides this supportive environment/space for those who’s work can create burnout. It offers a safe, supportive, learning and exploring environment to off- load, confidentially discuss and manage challenging experiences which in turn supports professional development and workplace wellbeing.

What can you expect?

During the session, I listen as you share. I may occasionally question, challenge, or support you as appropriate. Ultimately, you will own whatever insights are uncovered, as well as whatever action you might take. We end the session with a short meditation, thanking Wisdom for the sacred space and the support, and asking for continued guidance and blessings in your life.
